Description

The position primarily interacts with internal stake holders dealing with Financial Accounting of GBS. The information exchanged in these interactions is typically financial in nature and at times can be deemed moderately complex.

The primary purpose of this role is to ensure that all the transactions for the relevant period is posted in the books of accounts and the books are closed on time as per company's Policy.

What You Will Do In Your Role

Preparing and Posting journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded

Preparing and Posting Fixed assets transaction to ensure all fixed assets transactions are recorded

Posting AP and AR invoices

Bank statement posting and reconciliation

Month end close tasks

Cash Application

Collections and Dispute resolution

Preparing GL Reconciliations

Adhering to controls build in the process

Interact with internal customers and assist them with accounting inquiries.

Assist the accounting manager with internal and external audit requests.

The Experience You Will Bring

Requirements:

Bachelors degree

Good Academic record with high percentage in Mathematics and Accountancy

Proficient in MS Office Suite - Excel and Word.
