Role Purpose-

Apply our Global standard model to transaction processing, whilst getting exposure to different country legal/tax requirements.

Opportunity to work with different technologies as Syngenta roll out their digital solutions across A2R

Work together with other A2R teams to achieve end to end process and service performance

Prepare and analyze (Journals, Inter Company, Balance Sheet Reconciliation, Bank Accounting, Asset Management, MEC Activities and Group Reporting teams collaborate effectively with Finance Operations Team in line with IFRS

Accountability :

To ensure various transactions in A2R process for e.g. Journal preparation and posting, Bank Accounting / Reconciliations / GRIR / Asset Management / MEC activities etc., are processed accurately and within agreed lead times to meet MEC close timelines. Execute Syngenta\xe2\x80\x99s A2R processes to ensure service to internal clients and external suppliers

  • Strict adherence to global standard process (application of desk top procedures and business operations pack) to deliver accurate and quality outputs
  • Prepare and analyze (Journals, Inter Company, Balance Sheet Reconciliation, Bank Accounting, Asset Management, MEC Activities and Group Reporting teams collaborate effectively with Finance Operations Team in line with IFRS.
  • Ensure the KPI\xe2\x80\x99s for the process are being met
  • Support the Team Lead to identify corrective actions when errors occur or KPI not met.
  • Independently perform the activities with minimum supervision; provide regular status updates, issues & resolutions to the Team Leader / Supervisors.
  • Proactively provide input to Team Leads on opportunities for improvement to the process or its execution.
  • Preparation of internal and external audit information.

Qualifications

Experience required for the job

Concern for high standards and data accuracy and service mindset

Ability to communicate financial information to a finance audience

2-4 years of experience in multinational environment

Proficient knowledge of handling end to end A2R activities for a large multinational company. \xe2\x80\xa2 Sound in economics, finance, or accounting background

Experience with ERP systems. SAP proficiency required

Should have sound accounting skills in reconciliations and accounting treatment.

Should have managed stakeholder in a multi country set up.

Ability to effectively work in a cross-functional matrix organization

Work in a shared service finance center may be beneficial.
