ABRT \xe2\x80\x93 Agilent Business Reporting & Analytics Team is looking for qualified and motivated analysts to join our team. We extend business support by ensuring adherence to US GAAP & SOX Compliance in terms of managing for business expense and revenue deferrals.

Here, you\'ll join the dynamic and progressive team that\'s delivering the business finance reporting and analyst services critical to business planning, forecasting and control. And you\'ll get to partner with the businesses by playing key role in driving improvements and re-engineering processes

Responsible for analysis and evaluation of business problems and development of business system or process recommendations to meet requirements, including problem definition, evaluation of requirements, possible solutions and implementation of systems/processes.

This role may involve project management. Project management responsibilities include managing internal non-technical business projects from initiation through completion. Leads project planning, resourcing, staffing, progress reporting, issue resolution and delivery of results. Interprets requirements, identifies project scope, plans and directs schedules, monitors project budgets, assigns tasks and tracks performance and milestone achievement Recommends schedule changes, cost adjustments, resource additions or scope changes.

Ensures effective communication across teams/functions. Keeps management informed of progress, key issues and changes which may impact the business. Requires people and resource management through others and may include leading third-party resources.

Job Responsibilities

• Primary responsibility is to provide analytical support, reporting, and business consulting to Agilent\xe2\x80\x99s business finance functions
• Analyzing and booking expense accruals, revenue deferrals & publishing business reports to facilitate decision making
• Provides business management with financial decision support and analysis, business planning, and financial reporting, planning and analysis
• Manage & lead assigned projects on finance
• Detailed process overview of multiple functions and capable of driving process efficiencies opportunities
• Implementing & driving the quality improvisation while working across different functions and display strong analytical & quality management skills
• Liaising with stakeholders and providing reporting solutions
• Managing trainings and educating stakeholders with various BI suites & reporting capabilities
• Managing month end close activities with the understanding of FP&A, accruals & GL analysis
• Handle customer queries and ensure timely responses
• Maintains compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
• Ensures that Agilent operations are conducted in line with financial policies and controls

Qualifications

MBA (Finance) with 9+ or CA with 7+ years of relevant industry experience

• Multitasker with strong organization skills and good attention to detail
• Strong interpersonal skills including written, oral and presentation
• Ability to work and communicate effectively with Senior Management/Executives
• Strong team player, analytical skills and ability to work independently with business acumen
• Strong customer-focus and results orientation
