Position Title: Fin Analyst I-RTC Accts Rec Job Location: Bangalore, KA -India To perform daily operational finance assignments and develop knowledge of Caterpillar\'s procedures, philosophy, customers, dealers, organization and financial practices. Job Duties This position reports to finance supervisors or managers. Develop a foundational understanding of Caterpillar\'s business and finance practices, systems and procedures Apply general finance principles. Participate on teams. Gain knowledge of Caterpillar\'s philosophy, products, dealers and organization The Finance Analyst will be exposed to a variety of finance functions and will: Accomplish a high level of output with a broad range of basic analysis. Review clerical input. Perform day-to-day job responsibilities based on business unit needs. The Finance Analyst analyses relevant data, provides feedback, and influences decisions. Typically, decisions will impact low risk issues, or the analysis will be used by higher level finance people in their decisions. The Finance Analyst Will Process cash application Be actively involved in leading the receivables governance with BU and entities (past dues reviews, risk reviews) Administer receivable collections. Perform credit analysis for Business Units Support Business Units through receivable reporting Coordinate bad debt review meetings and advise on potential areas of concern Support Mach 1 In House Cash receivable process Support Intercompany Loan process. Perform Factoring Reporting activities Participate and contribute to meetings with stakeholders. Finance Analyst demonstrates knowledge and ability to independently handle business issues. They demonstrate good communication skills and display a high degree of initiative and accountability. The incumbent is expected to work independently to complete assignments. Flexible to support global operations. Willingness to work in Americas time zone. Background/Experience Professional experience of 3-5 years. Requires a college degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or Economics, general knowledge of various finance and business subjects, and good written and verbal communications skills. Incumbents are generally exposed to several areas of finances a Finance Analyst to develop skills, knowledge, and experience necessary for higher level finance positions.
