Field Test engineer to manage trials of Lubricants (Specialty Chemicals) on Vehicles, Farm Tractors, Construction Equipment Fleets, Industrial machinery.

A) Engineering Support and Project Management:

• Ensure that field tests are aligned with business goals, and they are agreed-upon milestones, dates, and accountability.
• Develop in-depth knowledge of the appropriate field test methods for fuel and lubricant product development and product differentiation.
• Interact with business segment technical and commercial teams to develop field testing strategies that best support business growth objectives.
• Provide regular updates to business segments on technical and field test achievements as well as hurdles and issues.
• Apply engineering skills and knowledge in the development of new field tests and testing procedures.
• Review field test performance with customers and colleagues at milestones to meet expectations.
• Locate and establish relationships with new test sites & fleets to match testing needs identified by the business segments, coordinate the collection and analysis of used oil samples and operational data from test vehicles, and resolve problems with data collection as they occur.
• Responsible for test report preparation and inspection, process coordination. Maintain good relationships with customers, fleets, suppliers, and all stakeholders.
• Leverage trends in customer industries, marketplaces to shape solutions and approaches for the customer.
• Provide technical presentations and other support to global OEMs, partners, customers, and internal colleagues.

B) Support Division and Field Test Group Goals

• Support Field Testing Division goals and report progress to Field Testing Manager.
• Support processes that ensure operating flexibility in response to customer demands
• Track and report field test budget as needed.
• Review project progress on a regular basis and notify management of the issues, roadblocks, and successes as they occur. Partner with colleagues at other Testing Division locations.

Eligibility:

• We are looking for young and dynamic professionals, having graduate in Mechanical, Automobile Engineering, 2-3 years of experience in Lubricant and Additive industry.
• He should be computer savvy, self-driven, team player and besides having functional/technical knowledge should possess skill sets in presentation, open communication, inter-personal relationship, analytical and possess leadership abilities. Focus on customer, result orientation; adaptability, decision making, establishing trust, financial acumen etc. are the essential competencies.
