Position Summary

This position will take care of entire Western India and will be located at New Delhi. Candidate should be able to perform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, equipment modifications, and installation support on various mechanical, electro-mechanical, and electronic units. Interact with customers and dealers on a daily basis and complete administrative requirements as required. Support and assist in the training of dealers' service personnel. Assist Service Manager in Customer Education Programs.

Duties

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance required on STERIS and related product lines. This includes disassembling, replacing, or repairing defective parts; rewiring or reassembling as required; troubleshooting, adjusting/calibrating, and certifying equipment ready for use by using standard and specialized tools and test equipment (i.e., schematics, diagrams, technical manuals, etc.).
• Troubleshoot, repair, modify, overhaul, or refurbish standard and special purpose equipment and systems components.
• Maintain and build a very good working relationship with the Service team members, Region Manager, Service Manager, and Sales Team and advice on the activities and changes related to sales opportunities in the territory
• Develop and maintain effective, communicative relationships with customers, managers, support functions and the sales and dealer organization. Communicate activities to customers related to scheduling Preventative Maintenance and estimated time of arrival for unscheduled work. Utilize provided product and industry knowledge to assure customer's expectations of service are exceeded. Actively seek continuing education opportunities to reinforce and support STERIS overall Sales & Service strategies
• Supporting dealers in response to customer and sales questions regarding equipment operation and performance
• Utilize customer protocols when entering and exiting facilities and abide by all Health & Safety protocols
• Assist and Conduct Dealer Service Training and End User training
• Train and support technically the field service engineers and field service representatives in achieving their task
• Travel within country as and when required to perform the job functions list above.
• Meet the annual financial target as assigned and other duties as assignened.

Education Degree

• Bachelor's Degree

Required Experience

Troubleshoot, repair, modify, overhaul, or refurbish standard and special purpose equipment and systems components - 3 Years

Preferred Experience

The candidates with experience as below:
1. Washers & Decontamination products,
2. Steam and low temperature sterilization,
3. Steam Generators,
4. Operating Theatre Surgical Lights and Surgical Tables.
5. Central Processing Systems.

Working Conditions

Candidate with experience in hospital equipment maintenance and willing to travel for Job purpose for minimum 10 to 12 days in a month
