Job Title: Field Service Engineer

Location: Pune.

Reporting to: Senior Manager Field Service, South Asia.

Relevant expereince 3 to 5yrs.

Educational Qualification: BE/Diploma Instrumentation/Electronics/Computer Science

Experience: Experience on handling Installation, qualification and maintenance of hardware systems in pharmaceutical and Biopharmaceutical industry. Candidates with relevant experience on electrical and automation systems (PLC, SCADA systems from Siemens/Rockwell) would get preference.

Job responsibilities:

  • Installation and Maintenance of all the hardware systems marketed by Process Solutions division in Indian subcontinent.
    • Primary area of coverage - Pune, Aurangabad, and Ahmedabad
    • Secondary area of coverage - Rest of India, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and Nepal.
  • Installation of Semi-automated and Fully automated process equipment\'s like Single Use Bioreactor, Single and Multiuse chromatography systems/TFF/NFF systems, Integrity testers etc.
  • Managing basic automation support needs - troubleshooting of Automation issues, reloading back ups/images, Familiar with domain and network terminologies.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with Manufacturing, sales and sales support teams to meet the customer expectations on service deliverables.
  • On time delivery of services: To ensure service delivery timelines and commitments to our customer are met.
  • Compliance: Ensure all the service support activities are performed aligning with company internal policies and processes and that there are no deviations in the same.
  • Utilise Software tools: Effectively use tools like "Service Max", "SFDC", "Office 365", "Outlook" for all service support tasks and reporting.
  • Promote Field Service business: Promote company products and services, as may be applicable, for generation of additional business for our compnay.
  • Reporting: Ensure all reporting related to service support activities is documented, maintained and reported as per requirement.
