As an Agricultural Field Sales Officer, you will be responsible for driving sales and revenue generation for agricultural products and services. You will be required to approach and maintain relationships with customers in the agriculture sector, such as farmers, cooperatives, and agribusinesses. You will be expected to have a deep understanding of agricultural products, market trends, competition, and customer needs. Responsibilities:
Generate sales leads and aggressively pursue new business opportunities in the agriculture sector.
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers.
Conduct market research to identify agriculture-related trends, customer demands, and competitor activities.
Develop and implement sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets and increase market share.
Provide product demonstrations and presentations to potential customers.
Communicate and consult with customers to assess their needs and suggest appropriate products or services.
Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery and installation of products.
Negotiate and close sales agreements, ensuring timely preparation and submission of required documents.
Provide after-sales support and address customer inquiries or complaints promptly and effectively.
Stay updated with industry knowledge, including new products, technologies, and agricultural practices.
Prepare periodic sales reports, including sales activities, achievements, and challenges.
Collaborate with the marketing team to develop effective promotional campaigns and materials.
Participate in trade shows, exhibitions, and conferences to network and showcase the company\'s products.
Stay informed about government policies, schemes, and subsidies related to agriculture to leverage them for sales opportunities.
Qualifications:
A bachelor\'s degree in agriculture, agribusiness, or a related field.
Proven experience in sales, preferably in the agriculture industry.
