Field Engineer IV - Remote India

We\'re looking for an Field Engineer IV to join our team in India.

As a Field Engineer you will provide pre-sales technical support for the development and implementation of complex products/applications/solutions, focused on a specific product line/offering. Uses in-depth specific product line knowledge to provide technical expertise to sales staff, other presales resources, and the customer. Assists the sales staff in assessing potential application of company products to meet customer needs and may prepare detailed product specifications for the development and implementation of customer products/applications/solutions. May create detailed design and implementation specifications for complex products/applications/solutions. May build a mini-application based on customer requirements to demonstrate feasibility of the application, often requiring rapid prototyping and/or product demo for client. May provide consultation to prospective users and/or product capability assessment and validation. Within our technical sales community you will be an active and constant learner with a growth mindset. You will contribute to others growth and development also by mentoring and contributing to the development of shared selling assets, knowledge stores, and enablement materials. In this role you will be a key influencer of product development by capturing product GAPs that relate to customer solutions, staying abreast of roadmap developments, and contributing to an interlock process with product management.

Area of Focus

The Field Engineer will have deep understanding of one or more technical concepts such as AWS, Azure, Google, or other ecosystem partners. A deep level of expertise is expected for an assigned Product Line/Area. Staying on the cutting edge, providing feedback, and enabling others on the assigned Product Line/Area is key for scale.

Your Role Responsibilities? Here\'s What You\'ll Do

• Manage customer engagements independently
• Share best practices, content, tips and trips on primary area of focus, competition, and other ecosystem vendors on primary area of focus
• Stay current on certification of services related to area of focus
• Perform all activities leading up to the delivery of a Customer Specific Demo (Custom Demo), for area of focus with no assistance. The activities may include discovery, technical qualification / fit, customer presentations, standard demo and any related customer facing communication.
• Conduct technical workshops with customers with no assistance
• Lead on RFP responses and POC\'s related for area of focus
• Provide customer feedback on product gaps using Vivun
• Support demos at marketing events independently
• Create and present new customer demos for new use cases with minimal assistance
• Present existing EBC content either at Informatica or onsite with customers
• Design & Deliver Technical Enablement to Solution Architects for area of expertise
• Mentor new Field Engineers

What We\'d Like to See

• Holds expert-level experience and uses professional concepts and company objectives to resolve complex issues in creative and effective ways.
• Intermediate knowledge of top 3 Cloud Ecosystems and top 2 data related technologies
• Intermediate knowledge of Cloud computing security aspects like firewall, encryption
• Expert-level presentation, customer service, financial/business acumen, and negotiation skills at all levels of customer engagement.
• Complete, \xe2\x80\x9cbig-picture\xe2\x80\x9d understanding of the business and technical contexts of key accounts.
• Driven, self-starter who exudes leadership on account set and compels others to get on board.
• Fully adept at consultative effectiveness and establishing trust with internal and external customers.

Role Essentials

• 8+ years of relevant experience in data management, MDM, or DG
• 10 years of prior presales/technical sales or consulting experience
• BA/BS or equivalent educational background is preferred
