Job Description


The Food Beverage Training Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing comprehensive training programs for the food and beverage staff within an organization This role involves designing and delivering training initiatives to enhance the skills, knowledge, and service standards of the FB team The Training Manager collaborates with various departments to ensure consistency in service, compliance with industry standards, and the achievement of organizational goals Key Responsibilities: Training Program Development: Design, develop, and implement training programs for food and beverage staff, including servers, bartenders, kitchen staff, and other relevant positions. Create training materials, manuals, and resources to support learning objectives. Customize training programs based on the specific needs and goals of the organization. Onboarding and Orientation: Facilitate orientation sessions for new FB employees, ensuring a smooth and comprehensive onboarding process. Introduce employees to company policies, standards, and expectations. Skills Enhancement: Conduct regular training sessions to improve the technical skills, product knowledge, and customer service abilities of FB staff. Collaborate with chefs, sommeliers, and other subject matter experts to deliver specialized training. Service Standards: Develop and enforce service standards to ensure consistent and high-quality customer experiences. Monitor and evaluate service levels, providing feedback and coaching to staff as needed. Compliance and Safety: Stay abreast of industry regulations and standards related to food safety, health, and sanitation. Incorporate compliance training into programs and ensure staff adherence to relevant regulations. Performance Evaluation: Implement performance assessment tools to evaluate the effectiveness of training programs. Conduct periodic assessments of FB staff to identify areas for improvement and additional training needs. Technology Integration: Incorporate technology and e-learning tools into training programs to enhance engagement and efficiency. Stay updated on new training technologies and methodologies. Communication and Collaboration: Collaborate with FB management, HR, and other departments to align training programs with organizational goals. Communicate effectively with staff to promote a positive learning environment and address any concerns. Feedback and Continuous Improvement: Collect feedback from trainees and stakeholders to continuously improve training programs. Stay informed about industry trends and best practices to enhance the effectiveness of training initiatives. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Hospitality Management, Culinary Arts, or a related field. Proven experience in food and beverage service, with a focus on training and development. Strong knowledge of industry standards, regulations, and best practices. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to adapt training programs to diverse audiences and learning styles. Familiarity with learning management systems and training technologies.
