plays a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen and food service areas. They are responsible for washing dishes, cleaning work areas, organizing kitchen tools and supplies, and supporting the F&B and culinary teams in smooth day-to-day operations.
Key Responsibilities Cleaning & Hygiene
Clean and sanitize all kitchen utensils, cookware, tableware, and equipment (e.g., ovens, grills, sinks).
Ensure cleanliness of kitchen areas including floors, walls, counters, and storage areas.
Follow proper waste disposal and recycling procedures.
Inventory & Storage
Properly stack and store cleaned dishes, glassware, and utensils.
Refill kitchen supplies such as soap, cleaning agents, and paper towels as required.
Help organize and maintain storage and dishwashing areas.
Support to Kitchen & F&B Team
Assist in transporting food trays, equipment, and supplies between kitchen and service areas.
Support chefs with basic prep tasks (optional depending on property).
Maintain cleanliness of service areas, banquet back-of-house spaces, and staff cafeteria.
Compliance
Adhere to all safety, hygiene, and sanitation regulations (e.g., HACCP standards).
Report any broken equipment or unsafe conditions to supervisors immediately.
