To provide efficient, courteous, and hygienic food and beverage service to guests, ensuring a pleasant dining experience in line with the organization's service standards.
Key Responsibilities
Welcome guests politely and assist them with seating
Present menus and explain dishes, specials, and beverages
Take food and beverage orders accurately and relay them to the kitchen/bar
Serve food and drinks as per standard service procedures
Ensure timely clearance of used plates and glasses
Handle guest requests and complaints courteously and report to supervisor if required
Hygiene & Cleanliness
Maintain cleanliness of tables, chairs, floors, and service areas
Ensure proper table setting before and after service
Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards (FSSAI)
Maintain personal hygiene and proper grooming at all times
Billing & Coordination
Assist in preparing bills and present them to guests
Handle basic POS entries if required
Coordinate with kitchen and bar staff for smooth service flow
Assist seniors during peak hours and banquets
Event Support
Assist in setup and service
Serve buffet or plated meals during events
Support breakdown and cleaning after events

Team player with willingness to learn
Basic knowledge of food & beverage service preferred
Qualifications & Experience
Minimum education:
10th / 12th pass
Hotel Management / F&B Service certificate will be a plus.
0-2 years experience
in hotel or restaurant service
Freshers can be considered
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand for long hours
Carry trays and service equipment
Fast-paced work environment
