Job Description

The F&B Controller oversees the financial operations of the food and beverage department, driving profitability through strong cost control, inventory management, and accurate financial analysis

Key Responsibilities



Budgeting & Forecasting


Develop, manage, and review department budgets and financial projections Experian

Cost Control


Track and analyze food, beverage, and non-food costs; identify variances and implement corrective measures Marriott Careers.

Inventory Management

Financial Reporting


Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual cost reports, sales analyses, and margin reviews; present insights to management Expertia+3Expertia+3Accor+3.

Audit & Compliance


Perform audits of stock, recipes, and invoices; ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations AccorExpertia.

Supplier Relations & Purchasing


Coordinate with chefs and procurement to pre-cost menus, negotiate supplier rates, verify deliveries, and ensure invoice accuracy Reddit+15Accor+15Expertia+15.

Process Improvement


Identify cost-saving initiatives, streamline procedures, and support implementation of new financial systems and reporting methods Accor+1Accor+1.

Qualifications



Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Hospitality, or related field; professional credentials (e.g., CMA, CPA) preferred Accor. 3-5+ years of experience in financial management or cost control within hospitality or F&B settings Accor+8Expertia+8Koia Resort+8. Strong proficiency in spreadsheets, financial software, ERP, and inventory systems (e.g., Micros, Fidelio) Koia Resort.
