We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Food and Beverage Captain to lead our restaurant and dining team, ensuring every guest enjoys an unforgettable dining experience.
Job Summary:
As the Food and Beverage Captain, you will oversee the daily operations of the food and beverage service in our dining areas. Your primary responsibility is to ensure exceptional service delivery, manage front-of-house staff, and maintain high standards of food quality and presentation. You will lead the team by example, ensuring smooth operations, guest satisfaction, and efficient service.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and lead the food and beverage team, ensuring that service standards are consistently met and exceeded.
Greet guests, manage reservations, and oversee the seating arrangements to provide smooth and efficient service.
Ensure timely, accurate, and professional service in accordance with resort and health & safety standards.
Train, mentor, and motivate the food and beverage team to ensure high levels of guest service and product knowledge.
Address and resolve guest concerns or complaints in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring complete satisfaction.
Monitor and maintain the cleanliness and organization of dining areas, ensuring they meet high standards of hygiene and safety.
Coordinate with the kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation, presentation, and service.
Assist with menu planning, inventory management, and ordering of food and beverages.
Ensure all equipment and supplies are maintained in good working condition and are readily available.
Manage guest check-ins and check-outs, processing payments, and handling cash or POS systems.
Oversee the setup and breakdown of service areas for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and special events.
Ensure compliance with all local regulations, including food safety, alcohol service laws, and health guidelines.
Monitor staff performance, provide feedback, and assist with performance reviews.
Foster a positive, team-oriented work environment that motivates staff to deliver the best service possible.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent (a degree in Hospitality or related field is preferred).
Proven experience in a similar role within the food and beverage industry, preferably in a supervisory or leadership position.
In-depth knowledge of food and beverage service and hospitality standards.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to handle guest complaints effectively.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask efficiently.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift items up to 25 lbs.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
