Associate Manager - Data Science

About the role :

The Associate Manager in Factspan is a critical leadership position with accountabilities ranging from project execution, team management and stakeholder handling. The AM belongs to a select club and this group is coached and mentored to become the next generation of leaders.

Roles and Responsibilities :

- Drive the execution of all product lifecycle processes for products, including product research, market research, competitive analysis, planning, positioning, roadmap development, requirements development, and product launch

- Translate product strategy into detailed requirements for prototype construction and final product development by engineering teams

- Create product strategy documents that describe business cases, high-level use cases, technical requirements, and ROI

- Analyze market data to develop strategies and define product objectives for effective adoption plans

- Collaborate closely with engineering, production, and platform teams on the development, QA, and release of products and balance of resources to ensure success for the entire organization

- Aligning stakeholders around the vision for the product

- Act as a product evangelist to build awareness and understanding

Required Qualifications & Experience :

- Bachelors/ Masters from Premiere Institutes in Computer Science/Mathematics, Statistics, or any other Quantitative disciplines

- 4-7 years of relevant experience in Data Science

- Proven work experience in product management or as an associate product manager

- Proven track record of managing all aspects of a successful product throughout its lifecycle

- Proven ability to develop product and marketing strategies and effectively communicate recommendations to executive management

- Solid technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in SQL, Python, ensemble methods (boosting, bagging, stacking), knowledge discovery, and drawing insights through data ML and DL techniques, Azure Data Bricks

- Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to roll up one's sleeves to get the job

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, supported by excellent written and oral communication
