Job Purpose: The Factory In-Charge is responsible for overall factory operations, ensuring smooth production, quality compliance, safety, discipline, and cost control.
Key Responsibilities:
Production & Operations:
Plan and execute daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules
Ensure optimum utilization of machines, molds, and manpower
Monitor cycle time, output, downtime, and rejection
Troubleshoot production issues and take corrective action
Ensure on-time dispatch
Quality Management:
Maintain consistent product quality
Control rejection, rework, and scrap o Implement SOPs and quality checks
Prepare for customer and internal audits

Maintenance & Utilities:
Ensure preventive maintenance of machines and molds o Coordinate breakdown maintenance o Monitor utilities (power, air, water) o Reduce downtime
Manpower & Discipline:
o Manage operators, supervisors, and helpers o Ensure attendance, shift discipline, and productivity o Train operators on safety and quality o Handle shop-floor issues
Safety & Compliance:
o Ensure workplace safety o Implement 5S and housekeeping o Comply with Factory Act and Pollution Control norms
Reporting & Coordination
: o Daily production and rejection reporting o Coordinate with management and support functions
Required Skills:
o Injection molding process knowledge o Production planning and quality control o Leadership and problem-solving o Hands-on shop-floor management
