Salary: \xc2\xa344,428 - \xc2\xa345,441 Hours: 37 Location: Penrith/Kendal/Barrow (To be confirmed) Contract: Permanent About this opportunity The recruitment to this key post within the Corporate Asset Team is essential to the implementation of an integrated Facilities Management Team within Westmorland & Furness Council. The team will focus on providing consistent management and co-ordination across buildings working in collaboration with the Corporate Landlord Function, Building Compliance and Corporate Health & Safety to ensure compliance with all relevant statutory regulations and building based legislation. We are looking to appoint an innovative, forward thinking, and knowledgeable individual to assist the Corporate Landlord on providing a workplace environment that is an exemplar of best practice, build on continuous improvement and advocate new processes that will improve operational outcomes and customer experience. The successful candidate will assist the Corporate Landlord with the strategic leadership and management responsibility for all the of the Soft Facilities Management Service. You will have the skills and ability to formulate and deliver facilities led communications and initiatives to engage customers/building users on often challenging issues; demonstrate a good knowledge of H&S and building regulations as it relates to Facilities Management and working with the Building Compliance Team and Corporate H&S ensure compliance with all relevant statutory regulations. Working in collaboration with Senior Managers you will be expected to advocate clear programmes of work including transformation, improvement and decarbonisation activities displaying strong organisational skills, determination and demonstrating an elevated level of understanding of customer service and satisfaction.
