Duties shall include:

• Establish and maintain customer relationships with senior site management and internal users
• Direct vendor activities delivering Building infra-structure services ( i.e. HVAC, elevator, fires systems, plumbing, electrical, janitorial, etc.)
• Direct design and construction activities for new facilities and redesign of existing facilities.
• Implement local space planning solutions under corporate guidance
• Implement environmental health and safety programs across assigned portfolio
• Support physical security and badging functions
• Manage a variety of workplace services at each site to include print, beverage, and food services, off-site storage, confidential destruction, shipping/receiving, etc.
• Manage cost centers, facilities spend and vendor invoice processing across the assigned portfolio
• Manage FTE and/or contract staff in support of assigned portfolio
• On the job travel as needed.

Challenges:
Major challenges faced by incumbents may include some of the following:

Manages, the coordination of the activities of department with responsibility in terms of costs, methods, and employees. Anticipates and identifies complex business needs and develops solutions. Develops objectives based on customer/business requirements. Requires creativity, resourcefulness, and innovation in a practical application. Designs and structures workflow, jobs and reporting relationships to maximize customer satisfaction and to meet strategic and business objectives. Problems/decisions involve analytical, interpretive thinking; defines and resolves issues requiring variable, diverse thinking. Analyzes a problem, develops solutions and evaluates the strength and weaknesses in deciding the best approach. Works on problems of diverse scope where analysis of situation or data requires evaluation of identifiable factors. Integrates multiple functions within a discipline.

Required skills and experience:

• Broad knowledge of functional operations and market trends.
• Typically requires more than 8-10 years’ experience with a bachelor’s degree BA/BS Degree in related field
• Five years’ experience managing multiple remote locations across a diverse geography
• Knowledge of building systems and experience managing systems in an industrial environment
• Ability to provide analytical thinking and problem-solving.
• Ability to communicate factual information and ideas in English, clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing, often under pressure and tight deadlines.
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with senior management, internal employees, and external vendors.
• Experience managing multiple cost centers.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office Suite to include Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint.
