Education Qualification: M.Tech / B.Tech in Textile

Major Requirements: Knits fabric sourcing experience in India

Role Definition:

Fabric Sourcing is one who is responsible for creating, managing & growing our Sales revenues and profits through successfully Sourcing and/or contract manufacturing of all the fabrics that we plan to sell to our customers around the world.

Role Deliverable:

Data sourcing & management of manufacturers/subcontractors/suppliers/job workers/exporters of relevant/ required fabrics.

Relationship and networking management with suppliers for sourcing/manufacturing.

Sourcing of Fabrics from various suppliers / Pricing / Inspection of Inward Materials / Price Negotiation.

Optimize sourcing procedures to attain maximum efficiency.

Find the best quality and most competitive supply sources

Manage & deliver end to end operations from Providing pro active support to Sales team starting at enquiry generation, Sellable costing, Samples development to effective order execution, on time shipments with agreed quality and pleasant customer experience.

Tasks & Activities:

• Managing end to end sourcing and related operations. Generate and implement efficient sourcing and category management.
• Continuously developing data of potential suppliers/ manufacturers of desired products.
• Networking and relationship building with suppliers for efficient & effective sourcing
• Analyze and calculate costs of procurement and suggest methods to decrease expenditure, Negotiate and secure profitable deals.
• Sourcing of different types of Fabrics from various suppliers and pricing.
• Accountable for New fabric qualities presentations to buyers.
• Developments and bulk follow up with Mills in India, China & Bangladesh etc.
• Coordinating with merchandising for better deliveries
• Developing different Fabrics according to Order Requirements.
• Quality inspection/audit of Inward Materials
• Cooperate with stakeholders to guarantee agreement on terms and processes.
• Research and perform cost analysis, and benchmarking.
• Discover and partner with trustworthy vendors and suppliers.
• Determine quantity and timing of deliveries

Measurement Metrics:

• Target set and achieved with 15 days /45 days /half yearly & yearly reviews.
• Customer feedbacks: pleasant & unpleasant experiences.
• No. of regular customers maintained & developed.
• No. of new Vendors developed and existing maintained
