Allscripts is hiring for Expert Systems Engineer- Linux/Unix, Azure, Kubernetes.
Expert Systems Engineer, Pune
Responsibilities
- Provide production support for the Linux/Unix infrastructure.
- 24X7 Operational support Linux/Unix environment.
- Linux administration, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
- Linux user management and file permissions.
- Responsible to create file systems, disk partitioning and troubleshooting.
- Server Deployment, commissioning and decommissioning.
- Liaise with vendors to analyze crash dumps, or infrastructure problems.
- Ensuring the quality, and stability of the Unix/Linux environment and supporting business managers in planning project.
- Address incidents picked up by the monitoring systems alerting on Unix & Linux infrastructure within a timely manner.
Experience:
- Requires 7+ years of Linux experience.
- IN depth knowledge of Linux: RedHat, CentOS, Oracle Linux, etc.
- Hardening and patching for Unix/Linux servers
- Good to have - VMWare, SAN, Clinicals application knowledge, Allscripts application knowledge, LogicMonitor.
- Ability to work and deliver in complex environment.
Qualifications
- Academic and professional qualifications:
- Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree required.
- Linux certifications (RHCT, RHCE and Azure)
- Strong problem solving and communication skills.
- Bachelor\'s degree required.
