Staff supervision:

Supervise and coordinate the activities of the dining room staff, including training and mentoring new servers.

Customer service:

Greet guests warmly, ensure they are seated promptly, and handle their concerns or complaints tactfully.

Guest experience:

Oversee the overall guest dining experience, from seating and order taking to ensuring timely and accurate food delivery.

Operations management:

Manage reservations and seating arrangements, and ensure the dining area is clean and organized.

Kitchen liaison:

Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate service and to have a strong knowledge of the menu.

Inventory and supplies:

Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
Required skills and qualifications

Leadership:

Strong leadership, communication, and conflict resolution skills to manage a team effectively.

Customer service:

Excellent customer service abilities to ensure guest satisfaction.

Knowledge:

Good knowledge of food and beverage service techniques, menu items, and presentation standards.

Problem-solving:

Ability to handle pressure and solve problems promptly and tactfully.

Technical skills:

Proficiency in using point-of-sale (POS) systems is often required.

Experience:

Extensive experience in food and beverage service is typically essential.
