EXL provides consulting and analytics support to fortune 500 companies across multiple industry domains. For this role, you will be helping a U.S based client in the sports betting domain with strategic analytics and enabling them to use data for making business decisions. Some of your responsibilities include -

- Lead project teams of 5 - 10 consultants (or) more and own end to end project delivery; Manage 3 - 5 projects

- Own objective evaluation of game health and all content/feature releases, through daily KPI reports, bi-weekly business health meetings, and feature/event readouts and analysis.

- Work directly with client leadership and enable translation of business problems into analytics solution designs

- Provide thought leadership and deliver business insights to identify and resolve complex issues that are critical to the client's success

- Consult with the client on Customer analytics, fraud detection and odds prediction

- Deliver high quality analysis & reporting to aid risk profiling, segmentation & effective risk management decisions

- Play critical role in defining the problem, structuring the solution & executing against it

- Own project execution with on time delivery, ensuring all project goals are met

- Reformulate highly technical information into concise, understandable terms.

- Present evaluation, results and recommendations to clients' senior managers and executives.

- Actively contribute to business development & help with attracting, hiring, retaining, developing & motivating a team of diverse and qualified staff

Qualifications :

- Masters or Bachelor's degree in Data analytics, Computer Engineering, Math, Statistics, Economics or related analytics field from top-tier universities with strong record of achievement

- 8+ years of experience comprising analytics service delivery, consulting, solution design and client management

- Good understanding of online sportsbook product and operations

- Analytics experience working / delivering services for sports betting companies or casinos (or) any experience in a risk management / predicting consumer fraud

- Working knowledge of SQL, Python & Tableau.

- Solid understanding of analytics concepts (basics of data science, data engineering & business intelligence)

- Excellent listening, written communication, presentation and interpersonal skills

- Good problem solving skills, keen intellectual curiosity, strong attention to detail and sense of drive.
