Roles and Responsibilities

• Knowledge of Wind and Solar power generation and latest technologies in RE
• Knowledge of Excel/word and power point etc.
• Forecasting and scheduling of wind and solar plants located across India.
• Regular analysis of generated forecast and its timely submission to SLDC/clients.
• SCADA data analysis of wind/solar plants and data verification on regular basis.
• Analysis of Weather data in real time and update the schedule accordingly.
• Preparation of MIS report, Daily/Weekly/Monthly accuracy report
• Analysis of weather data as and when required
• Maintaining client wise assigned data for Wind and Solar.
• Prepare the check list on daily basis for SCADA data, generated forecast revision and other assigned tasks.
• Should be able to calculate and identify possible factor that may lead to reduction of errors in the schedule.
• Dealing with the issues in smooth forecast generation and resolving them.
• Try to give inputs in the reduction of errors in the schedule.
• Calculate the DSM charges as per regulation and take necessary action to reduce the DSM charges.
• Suggest innovative techniques and methods to generate highly accurate forecast and to reduce DSM charges significantly.
• Update AvC(Available capacity) information in dashboard as per communication from site team
• Mapping all F&S policies state-wise. Compile and update database as per latest amendments in Forecasting and scheduling regulation in terms of technical, operational & commercial details for all States.
• Suggest innovative techniques and apply the latest update in QCA services.
• Knowledge of statistical programming language eg. R/python/SPSS shall be added advantage
