Perform an array of functions that may include receiving of incoming stock and materials from domestic field production and imports or managing, organizing and retrieving stock in the warehouse.
Train, assign, supervise and evaluate assigned staff & maintain high level of safety & housekeeping standards in warehouse.
Accountabilities
Plan, organize, supervise and participate in daily warehouse operation and activities, including the receipt, documentation, storage, safety of equipment and supplies and maintenance of inventory.
Train, supervise and evaluate the performance of assigned warehouse employees; assign workloads to warehouse workers.
Receive, unpack, pack, load, issue & store the seeds materials, textbooks, supplies.
Compare packing lists to company purchase orders and ensure that the products in each delivery match the packing list
Collaborate with our field production team to develop a schedule for arrivals and effective management of storage space
Supervise the processing of requisitions from seed processing & packing; complete requisitions for needed materials to assure adequate stock levels.
Prepare and maintain a variety of records and logs and prepare reports as required.
Maintain inventory of seeds & non-seeds in the warehouse; file records as required. Ensure that every transition of seeds & non-seeds is captured in SAP.
Monitor the storage parameters as per the storage guidelines to maintain the quality of seeds stored.
Participate & support for annual cycle inventory count and Annual inventory count to ensure the validation of physical inventory vs Books inventory by batch wise / crop wise / variety wise.
Observe health and safety regulations; maintain warehouse in a clean, safe and orderly condition.
Assist Warehouse Manager in establishing warehouse standards and procedures; advise of budget-related needs.
Support & perform other duties as assigned by site management whenever necessary.
Qualifications
Knowledge, experience & capabilities
Critical knowledge
Graduate or Post Graduate degree in Science / Commerce / Engineering / Agriculture
SAP end user knowledge is preferable.
Medium to excellent analytical skills
Critical experience
Minimum 3-5 year of experience in warehouse management or inventory management and handled multiple SKUs and products.
Critical technical, professional and personal capabilities

Flexible and agile work-attitude is required.
