Job Description

Job Summary:



The Executive Chef is responsible for overseeing all culinary operations, including menu development, food quality, kitchen management, budgeting, staff training, and compliance with health and safety regulations. The role combines creativity with leadership to ensure exceptional dining experiences while maintaining cost efficiency and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:1. Culinary Leadership



Plan, create, and execute innovative menus that align with brand standards and seasonal availability. Ensure consistency and quality of all dishes served. Supervise food preparation and presentation to maintain high standards of taste and appearance.

2. Kitchen Management



Oversee daily kitchen operations and delegate tasks to chefs and kitchen staff. Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment. Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and occupational health standards.

3. Staff Management & Training



Recruit, train, and mentor kitchen staff, including sous chefs, line cooks, and dishwashers. Foster a positive, professional kitchen culture focused on teamwork and excellence. Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.

4. Financial Management



Develop and manage kitchen budgets, including labor, food cost, and inventory control. Monitor food and labor costs to achieve profit margins. Source ingredients and negotiate with suppliers for quality and cost efficiency.

5. Menu & Recipe Development



Create new dishes and seasonal specials based on current trends and guest preferences. Standardize recipes to ensure portion control and cost consistency. Adjust menus for dietary requirements and special events.

6. Collaboration & Communication



Work closely with front-of-house and management teams to ensure smooth service operations. Participate in management meetings and contribute to strategic planning. Maintain open communication with staff and management regarding kitchen
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹55,000.00 per month
