Job Purpose:

To provide support in conducting data analysis, business research, and information management. This role aims to provide crucial insights and data-driven support for decision-making processes by ensuring accurate data collection, effective data analysis, and the preparation of insightful presentations, while also maintaining data repositories for efficient retrieval and utilization.

To provide support in data entry and analysis for internal systems such as Workload Forecast, Salesforce Data, others as required.

About the Job

Responsibilities:

• Assist the line manager in performing data analysis using Microsoft Excel, ensuring accuracy, and providing actionable insights.
• Support in the creation of visually appealing and informative presentations based on research findings.
• Gather and compile data from various sources, ensuring data accuracy and completeness.
• Prepare and maintain data repositories to facilitate efficient data storage and retrieval.
• Actively participate in data collection efforts, ensuring completeness and adherence to project requirements.
• Proficient in quantitative and qualitative data collection and further analysis.
• Organize, analyze, synthesize and / or summarize data and information using appropriate analytical tools.
• Stay up to date with industry developments, regulations, and emerging technologies to anticipate market shifts.
• Continuously identify opportunities to streamline data collection, analysis, and reporting processes.
• Implement best practices in data analysis and data management.
• Assist the Global Resource manager in performing data entry, analysis using Microsoft Excel, and in-house tools as applicable ensuring accuracy and providing actionable insights.

About You

• B. Tech in Chemical Engineering or BBA / B. Com + MBA from reputed university with 1-2 years\' experience specifically in the fields of data analysis.
• Previous exposure to or experience within the Oil & Gas and Energy industry would be highly advantageous.
• Effective communication skills are essential, as the role involves collaborative work and the preparation of presentations.
• Agile learner able to pull simplicity from complex environments.

SOFTWARE SKILLS

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting is a fundamental requirement, as is the ability to demonstrate strong analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Desirable: Data Analysis Tools (MS Power BI), Collaboration Tools (Teams).
• Good to Have: Statistical Tools (SPSS).
