Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated European Commis 1 with solid expertise in European breakfast preparations, pasta production, wood-fire pizzas, and European main-course cooking. The ideal candidate should be technically sound, quality-focused, and confident in handling both morning and main service operations in a modern European kitchen.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and execute European breakfast service with consistency and high presentation standards Handle fresh pasta preparation, cooking, and sauce execution with accuracy Independently manage wood-fire pizza operations, including dough handling, stretching, topping balance, oven control, and baking Execute European main-course preparations following standard recipes and plating guidelines Maintain mise-en-place and ensure smooth service during peak hours Monitor food quality, portion control, and wastage reduction Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness standards Coordinate effectively with senior chefs and kitchen team Support menu updates, trials, and daily specials as directed
Required Skills & Experience

Minimum 2-4 years of experience in European or continental kitchens Strong hands-on knowledge of European breakfast cuisine Practical experience in pasta making and execution Proven expertise in wood-fire or stone-oven pizza Good understanding of European sauces, cooking techniques, and kitchen workflow Ability to work efficiently under pressure Strong teamwork and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications

Experience in cafe, bistro, or all-day dining concepts Exposure to open-kitchen or artisanal cooking environments Formal culinary education is an added advantage
