Hybrid Working

We are currently in the early stages of implementing a hybrid working environment, which means that many colleagues spend part of their working hours at home and part in the office, depending on the nature of the role they are in. We\xe2\x80\x99re flexible on how this works and it may continue to change and evolve. Depending on your team, typically this means that colleagues spend a minimum of between 20% to 60% of their time in the office, which could be over a week, a month or a quarter. However, some colleagues may choose to spend more time in the office over a typical period than their role type requires. We also have a flexible working process where, subject to business needs, all colleagues globally are able to request work patterns to reflect their personal circumstances These requests will be reviewed and agreed for a period of time i.e., will have a start and end date.

Introduction:

The eTrading Onboarding team supports Onboarding of clients for electronic trading for Fixed Income and Foreign Exchange across platforms such as Bloomberg, Tradeweb, MarketAxess, BondVision, BARX FI/FX, 360T, FXAll, Trading Screen and Currenex. Providing superior client service to both Top Tier and other high volume clients continues to be one of the team\xe2\x80\x99s main focuses. The team provides many value-added tasks across the full product range of Fixed Income and Foreign Exchange. The team also takes a leading role in market driven initiatives, Front and Back End system projects, enhancements, bug fixing and periodic systems UAT.

What will you be doing?

• Support the various platforms with Onboarding and static amendments across Bloomberg, Tradeweb, MarketAxess, BondVision, Bondscape, Reuters, BARX FI/FX and 360T, FXALL, Currenex.
• Assist Sales Desk with the Onboarding and qualification of new clients and additional users to the various platforms.
• Be a point of contact for client and operational related queries ensuring accurate and efficient answers in order to maintain an excellent service.
• Risk and Control: All Barclays colleagues have to ensure that all activities and duties are carried out in full compliance with regulatory requirements, Enterprise Wide Risk Management Framework and internal Barclays Policies and Policy Standards
• Partner with Technology and other internal teams to enhance and future proof the internal systems and process flow.

What we\xe2\x80\x99re looking for:

• Related work experience as Sales Assistant or Middle Office role.
• Broad knowledge of Investment Bank structure, functions and scope.
• Understanding of Fixed Income and Foreign Exchange products.
• Basic knowledge of electronic trading platforms and their offerings.
• Basic knowledge of industry best practices and regulatory implications of different asset classes.

Skills that will help you in the role:
