ETL QA

WorkMode :Hybrid

Work Location : Chennai / Hyderabad

Work Timing : 2 PM to 11 PM

Primary : ETL QA

We are seeking an strong experienced ETL QA Engineer with strong analytical, data validation, and testing skills to join our Quality Assurance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating high-quality test data, validating complex data pipelines, and ensuring the integrity and accuracy of data migration and transformation processes. The role requires a sound understanding of data modeling, SQL, and end-to-end traceability from requirements to test execution. Prior experience in large-scale data migration and modernization projects will be a strong asset.

Analyze and understand business requirements, system mappings, data flows, and transformation rules.

Design and create comprehensive test data to validate ETL processes across complex systems.

Collaborate with data analysts, business users, and developers to derive data combinations for functional and integration testing.

Develop and execute complex SQL queries to validate source-to-target mapping and transformation logic.

Perform data profiling and data validation using test tools and database queries.

Ensure traceability of business and technical requirements to test cases and test scenarios.

Review data models and support the QA team in understanding the data structure and relationships.

Participate in agile ceremonies, contribute to estimation and planning, and maintain test documentation.

Provide QA support for large data migration and modernization initiatives by validating conversion logic and ensuring data accuracy post-migration.

Identify defects, perform root cause analysis, and work closely with development and data teams to ensure timely resolution.
