During this time the company has worked closely with its customer base to innovate, develop and implement enhanced customised reference data solutions and has tackled market data vendor symbology, responded to increased activity in OTC clearing and new regulatory reporting requirements mandated as a response to the financial crisis.

JOB PURPOSE

• The primary role of Data Controller is to provide data input, data processing and support to the UK Data Controller team and assist the business in achieving key objectives of timely and accurate data delivery

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

As part of the Tradedata data team:

• Ensure that the Exchange Traded (ETD), Over the Counter (OTC) and non-ETD futures and options and related products\xe2\x80\x99 contract specification database is maintained to exacting standards of quality through the use of bespoke workflow tools and training from domain experts
• Be willing and committed to perform daily data entry tasks
• Research public website data and compare results with existing data
• Undertake various data entry projects and adhere to agreed deadlines, maintaining appropriate progress/tracking records
• Ensure that any working procedure guides for all data management processes are maintained/updated with any changes or amendments
• Ensure that all appropriate product information is obtained and processed. Maintain a good record of issues, resolutions, improvements, best practices and demonstrate a procedure for review/updating
• Deliver client contract commitments (SLAs) to time, quality, and cost, highlighting risks and mitigation strategies accordingly
• Keep track of trends and pro-actively identify continuous improvement measures
• Provide cover during staff absences and peak volumes, as directed by the business
• Engage with other team members, building a high performance and inclusive culture in which talent can thrive
• Achieve alignment and understanding to Euromoney\xe2\x80\x99s code of conduct and group policies across the team
• To work with peers across the team to establish networking links and common areas for collaboration

KEY INTERFACES

• Works with the Internal team to ensure timely, cost-effective and efficient data sourcing and processing

• Occasionally liaises with third party suppliers of data to ensure adhoc issues are effectively dealt with

• Liaises with business users of data management systems and productivity applications and collating feedback to ensure all user needs are met

• Keeps management informed of operational status through periodic status reporting and project updates

Personal Skills Desirable:

• Ideally, experience gained within a futures & options trading environment or support background

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

Experience Must Have:

• Microsoft Excel, Word + PowerPoint
• A basic understanding of Microsoft Access
• Data entry in exacting quality centric environment

Experience Desirable:

• Futures and Options
• SQL Server Management Studio
• Some knowledge of MiFID II and regulatory frameworks
