Koch Engineered Solutions (KES) is looking for an Estimation Engineer for the Koch-Glitsch business line, which covers mass transfer equipment\'s like Trays, Structured Packing, Random Packing, Mist Eliminators, etc.

The KES Equipment businesses provide uniquely engineered solutions in mass and heat transfer, combustion and emission controls, filtration, separation, materials application, automation, and actuation.

What You Will Do

• Develop accurate, realistic, and competitive estimates based on competitive scope.
• Co-ordination with materials/ Engineering / Manufacturing / Accounts for India specific issues for speedy proposals and order conversion.
• Experience in Engineering industry.
• Look at specification, should be able to read Mechanical drawings.
• Experience in calculating cost estimation.
• Translating the hardware quantity from given drawings into Matrix and AHOP\xc2\xae Automated Hardware Ordering Program.
• Prepare the complete estimate of revamps/ replacement.
• Implement a work methodology together with the different departments of the company.
• Support commercial team with detailed estimates and technical proposals.
• Proactively analyze and propose proposal optimizations from all possible point of views (technical, commercial, schedule,\xe2\x80\xa6)
• Develop database of estimates and work plans for the major families of KES equipment.
• Prepare proposal drafts.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

• Experience in equipment mechanical cost estimation in Oil & Gas sector.
• Outstanding oral and written communication and negotiation abilities.
• Excellent self-management and organizational skills, which enable a estimator to manage inquiries efficiently and also maintain calmness and composure when under pressure.
• Sound mathematical skills with high analytical and computer literacy ability, which is required to identify and tackle issues tactically with the use of relevant computer tool or software.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• B.E. / B. Tech in mechanical engineering, Diploma with relevant experience is also acceptable.
• Strong proficiency in Excel, Word.
• Fluency in English is required
