The Commercial Kitchen Equipment Estimation Engineer is responsible for assessing, estimating, and designing commercial kitchen equipment solutions for various projects and clients. This role requires a strong understanding of commercial kitchen equipment, industry standards, project management, and customer communication. The engineer collaborates with cross-functional teams to provide accurate and competitive equipment estimates, contributing to the successful completion of projects. Key Responsibilities:
1. Equipment Assessment: o Evaluate project requirements and client specifications to determine the appropriate commercial kitchen equipment needed. Analyze architectural and engineering drawings to identify equipment placement, utility connections, and spatial considerations.
2. Estimation and Cost Analysis: o Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for commercial kitchen equipment, including appliances, fixtures, ventilation systems, refrigeration units, and other relevant components. o Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to obtain pricing and availability information for various equipment options. o Consider factors such as quality, performance, energy efficiency, and maintenance requirements in cost analysis.
3. Customer Interaction: o Collaborate with clients to understand their specific needs and preferences, offering tailored equipment solutions.
Present equipment options and cost estimates to clients, explaining technical details in a clear and understandable manner.
4. Industry Knowledge and Trends: o Stay updated on the latest advancements in commercial kitchen equipment technology, energy efficiency, and regulatory standards. o
