Job Title- ESG Data Analyst, Real Estate Location- Mumbai Role Description The Physical Asset Management Analyst assists the Regional and Local Physical Asset Managers with gathering, analyzing, and preparing required reports and communication to Portfolio Managers. They support the Local/Regional Physical Asset Manager gather and analyze current market information and prepare market summaries. They will also provide analysis and make financial recommendations based on an in-depth review of lease related documents/processes and available transaction/market data. Your key responsibilities
  • Support the continuous collection and review of real estate utilities data (energy, water, waste) and other ESG-related information on asset level in a bespoke ESG data platform. Ensure timeliness and quality of data delivery from external partners and identify and follow-up on outliers as relevant.
  • Setup the profile on the ESG data platform for new assets, including extracting investment details from due diligence reports and uploading any existing ESG performance data.
  • Manage user access and rights to the ESG data platform.
  • Maintain various excel-based KPI trackers and reporting and interact with local asset management and property management teams to ensure they deliver the necessary information in time and understand the KPIs and outputs.
  • Provide ad-hoc support in analysing and reporting the gathered ESG data to colleagues, clients, benchmarks, and other stakeholders.
Your skills and experience Education and Experience:
  • Post-graduate or international equivalent experience
  • Degree in either an engineering/mathematics/environmental science or banking /financial/economic/accountancy related subject
  • Prior relevant work experience of 2-3 years
  • Proficient in MS Office (Advanced Excel) and general fluency in IT applications
  • Very strong analytical skills
  • Sustainability knowledge is an advantage
  • Experience with ESG software platforms would also be an advantage.

  • Highly motivated and self-sufficient, with a strong willingness to take on new challenges
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal) with strict attention to detail
  • Diligent and able to manage multiple conflicting deliverables under strict deadlines
  • Comfortable in a numerical technical environment and with the general mathematical concepts of finance.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of the team
  • High level of comfort in dealing with different local offices in Europe, APAC and the US.
