Accountabilities

Currently we are looking for a Finance Systems Support Analyst who will provide support to Group Finance colleagues globally and to the wider TEG teams in relation to the Group\xe2\x80\x99s ERP system (currently PeopleSoft). The successful candidate will set-up users on the system, assist in the training of users and log any issues relating to the system in our ticketing system Jira.

The role will also set-up any new chartfields, maintain exchange rates and monitor overnight batch jobs in the system. The role will work closely with other team members and technology to resolve issues in a timely manner.

As well as working on PeopleSoft the role will work closely with the finance teams to assist on other applications such as excel to support and to streamline business processes. This will include building automation into excel workbooks.

There will also be opportunity to work on finance projects in order to implement new functionality as required.

The key tasks of this role include:

• Monitor, log and assist in responding to support queries from finance and the wider business [General ledger, AP, AR, AM, Banking, Workflow and Expenses].
• Checking the integrity of data and monitoring of overnight batch jobs.
• Assist finance users with journal upload and correction.
• Control leavers and joiners and ensure appropriate authorization is in place.
• Deliver training to finance and the business on ERP
• Support Finance function on applications such as Excel
• Build automation into excel in order to streamline business processes
• Foreign exchange rates are entered on a timely basis
• Create new chartfields for analysis as required by the business and finance teams
• Regular liaison with colleagues in Finance System and Technology teams
• Perform role on finance projects including new system implementations, integrations, upgrades and process improvement / automation initiatives

• Experience with an ERP (PeopleSoft preferable but not essential) from a support/admin perspective
• Advanced Excel (incl Pivot tables and knowledge of VBA), Word
