Enterprise Architect
Core Responsibilities
Identify and document architectural risks, technical debt, and operational gaps; define mitigations.
Guide early shaping of programmes and projects, ensuring alignment to enterprise architecture standards and investment-management control frameworks.
Provide oversight during low-level design and early build to maintain coherence with HLD intent.
Work with finance-function SMEs (treasury, FP&A, product control, fund accounting) and legal/
Support business-case development with architectural input including cost drivers, effort estimates
MandatorySkills
7-12 years in enterprise/solution architecture with demonstrable experience in investment-management or broader asset/wealth management environments.
Strong familiarity with CFO-facing systems: GL/ERP, financial control, regulatory reporting engines, reconciliations, treasury tooling, performance/attribution, MI/reporting stacks
Experience across General Counsel, Legal, and Compliance systems: contract-lifecycle management, legal matter management, document governance, e-discovery, policy and regulatory-obligations frameworks.
Solid grounding in data architecture: data models, lineage, metadata, controls, and regulatory-driven data requirements.
Demonstrated ability to run feasibility phases: options evaluation, patterns selection, cloud/on-prem trade-offs, COTS vs bespoke assessment.
Strong HLD creation capability: integration, API patterns, security and IAM, resilience, non-functional requirements, and operational considerations.
Fluency in working with cross-functional teams distributed across the UK, India, and vendor locations.
