About Sarvam Foundation

Sarvam Shakti, a key project at Sarvam Foundation, is a unique and liberating education program for the urban slum girl child. We focus on creative education, especially intensive training, in Indian performing arts and yoga. The girls also are provided with quality education under our Shiksha vertical (computers and English classes). Our students (Shaktis) have appeared on national television and gone abroad for performances. We empower marginalized girls in India through a skills-based curriculum and well-being program to find confidence, self-worth, and purpose in their lives. This shapes characters and enables them to face life\'s many challenges.

About the work from home job/internship

Selected intern\'s day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Work on providing learning sessions to the Sarvam Shakti students as per the pre-designed curriculum
2. Work on conducting interactive sessions to actively engage students in classroom activities
3. Create and implement activities and exercises to enhance students\' basic English speaking, grammar, vocabulary, spelling, etc.
4. Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages active participation and cultivates a passion for learning
5. Prepare a report on the attendance of students and report the same to the team of supervisors

Requirements:

1. Strong proficiency in English, both written and spoken with good communication skills
2. Passion for teaching and a genuine interest in working with urban slum girls

Additional Information:

1. You are required to work three days a week, dedicating at least one hour to teaching the girls
2. You will be assigned a group of 6-7 students to work with under your guidance
