Job Description

:

HVAC Engineering Lead primary responsibility is to oversee and lead the HVAC design aspects and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, including electrical engineers, civil engineers, and other stakeholders, to ensure the successful integration of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems.

Your key tasks and responsibilities may include:

• HVAC System Design: Develop and optimize HVAC system designs considering factors like equipment sizing, load calculations, thermal management, and energy efficiency.
• Technical Expertise: Utilize your expertise in HVAC engineering principles and industry standards (ASHRAE, NFPA, SMACNA etc.) to create innovative and practical solutions that align with project requirements and safety regulations. Software Knowledge- HAP.
• Coordination: Work closely with the other design team to integrate HVAC systems seamlessly with the overall infrastructure, ensuring efficient space utilization and minimal interference with electrical equipment.
• Compliance and Standards: Ensure that all HVAC designs comply with relevant industry codes, standards, and environmental regulations.
• Vendor Management: Review and evaluate HVAC equipment vendor proposals, make appropriate selections, and oversee the procurement process.
• Quality Assurance: Perform thorough quality checks and reviews of HVAC designs to ensure accuracy and alignment with project specifications.
• Technical Support: Provide technical guidance to the HVAC design team and address any design-related issues that may arise during the project.
• Project Documentation: Create detailed HVAC design documentation, including drawings, specifications, reports, and construction documents.
• Safety and Risk Assessment: Conduct risk assessments related to HVAC design and implement safety measures to mitigate potential hazards.

Effective communication, leadership, and project management skills are essential to lead the HVAC design team and collaborate effectively with other stakeholders involved in the project.
