Job Description

As an Integration Engineering Manager you will lead the engineering team that plans, designs, develops, tests and maintains software that integrates AI-based digital assistants with enterprise back-office systems of record and insight. Responsibilities Lead the engineering team in architecture designing of large-scale integration solutions. Design and implement low-latency, high-availability, and performant applications. Work collaboratively with design team to understand end user requirements to provide technical solutions and for the implementation of new software features delivered through integrations Organize and contribute in all phases of the development lifecycle, ensuring on-time completion of projects. Develop methods for measuring results, both of the integration itself (operational metrics) and of team performance (scrum metrics) Act as a mentor to team members; assigning individual responsibilities Communicate with U.S. based team managers around overall project plans Understanding full stack development, although emphasis will be on back end systems Understanding of front-end technologies, such as AJAX, ReactJS, jQuery, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3 Knowledge of various python data structures and basic libraries. Knowledge of protocols - TCP IP, HTTP, HTTPS, SSH etc. Write - clean- well designed code. Integration of user-facing elements developed by front-end developers with server side logic. Conduct performance tuning, improvement, balancing, usability, and automation Support new projects and implement solutions from a Level-3 perspective Excellent written and verbal English communication skills Software Developer Skills The ideal candidate has deep experience with Python and generally scripting languages. Specific experience with PHP is desired. 10 Years of software product development life cycle experience Ability to design, deliver, and work with API endpoints Knowledge of User Authorization and Authentication Experience with AWS data processing solutions, including RDS an Dynamo. Expertise in Core Python and Sound Knowledge of Web Frameworks Good Understanding of Multi-Process Architecture Knowledge of Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery practices & cloud technologies. Front-End Technologies Knowledge Strong sense of ownership and problem-solving skills. Preferred Knowledge / Skills Exposure to the Workato iPaaS platform Coding in PHP Understanding of machine learning and data science General understanding of U.S. and international privacy laws and regulations, especially as it relates to database access and design (Applicable Internal Regulations, e.g GDPR, CCPA, CAN-SPAM, and COPPA). General understanding of applicable security frameworks (AWS CIS Benchmark, SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPPA, PCI-DSS)
