What Is The Role?

The Engineering Lead works closely with our development team, product manager, dev-ops, and business analysts to build our SaaS platform to support efficient, end-to-end business processes across the industry using modern flexible technologies such as ASP, .Net, and SQL Server. This role will be the lead for the overall team for Agile Frameworks and will be a player-coach. The person will be a key leader for the whole engagement and work with the CTO directly. They will lead strategy as well as execution for the platform.

What Are The Responsibilities?

  • Develop and maintain back-end, front-end applications, and cloud services using ASP, .NET, C#, and Azure
  • Be accountable for delivering high-quality results
  • Mentor less experienced members of the team
  • Thrive in a test-driven development organization with high-quality standards
  • Contribute to architecture discussions as needed
  • Collaborate with Business Analysts to understand user stories and requirements to meet functional needs
  • Support product team’s efforts to produce product roadmap by providing estimates for enhancements
  • Support user acceptance testing and user story approval processes on development items
  • Participate in sessions to resolve product issues
  • Escalate high priority issues to appropriate internal stakeholders as necessary and appropriate
  • Maintain a professional, friendly, open, approachable, positive attitude

What Are The Qualifications Required?

  • At least 7-10 years of experience working in a software development environment
  • Bachelor’s degree in software development or a related field is preferred
  • Primary technical skills required are ASP, .NET, MVC, C#
  • Secondary technical skills required are SQL Server, Angular/Node.js, HTML, CSS
  • Skills to use tools like Github, JIRA, Azure Webservices
  • Development experience with React and .NET is beneficial but not required
  • A track record of following through on commitments; excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills
  • Highly self-motivated and able to work effectively with virtual teams of diverse backgrounds
  • Strong desire to learn and grow professionally
