Role Description:

We are seeking an accomplished Engineering Leader (Technical Delivery Leader) with a strong background in the Insurance Domain (Life , Health , Accident etc.). The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 15 years of relevant IT experience including 5 years of relevant experience in driving Solution Architecture / Product Architecture and be hands-on with Java , Springboot, AWS, ReactJS and Oracle.

Responsibilities:
  • Own the technical delivery of the project.
  • Establish strong engineering discipline in managing end to end software delivery.
  • Translate Requirements and High Level Design to low level design, lead and participate in development and conduct code reviews of end-to-end software solutions using Java, ReactJS, TypeScript, and other pertinent technologies.
  • Provide guidance to develop responsive user interfaces delivering an exceptional experience on diverse devices and browsers.
  • Design, Implement and optimize database interactions using Oracle, prioritizing data integrity, performance, and scalability.
  • Address non-functional requirements such as performance, scalability, availability, security, and maintainability.
  • Drive the establishment and enforcement of CI/CD pipelines with polular DevSecOps tool chains.
  • Play the role of Scrum master and drive all Agile ceremonies sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
  • Leverage deep knowledge of cloud technologies (preferably AWS) to architect scalable and cost-effective solutions.
  • Mentor and coach team members, impart knowledge, improve skills, and foster a collaborative environment.
  • Act as a technical point of contact for stakeholders, providing guidance and resolving technical challenges.
  • Contribute to Technical Pre-sales as and when necessary.
Qualifications

Skills & Experience Required:
  • Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Overall 12+ years of relevant IT experience in which 5 years as a Technical Software Delivery Leader.
  • Strong experience in developing and designing solutions or products in Insurance Domain (preferably Life , Accident, Health Insurance domains). The candidate should have thorough knowledge of the key business concepts covering the business processes, capabilities , services and data models of key components like product administration, quotes and policy administration system, rating and billing, underwriting, workforce management, claims administration and settlement etc
  • Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience as a Full Stack Java Developer in both product development and services settings.
  • At least 2 years of hands-on experience in ReactJS and front-end development.
  • In-depth proficiency in Java programming language and associated frameworks (Spring Boot, Hibernate, etc.).
  • Strong expertise in ReactJS, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and modern JavaScript libraries.
  • Solid grasp of AWS services, Docker containerization, and Oracle databases.
  • Extensive experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Maven, Git), unit testing frameworks (JUnit, Jest, Cypress, Jasmine), and Agile practices.
  • Strong knowledge of design patterns, architectural patterns, and Object-Oriented Analysis and Design (OOAD).
  • Proven ability to lead technical teams, mentor junior members, and maintain strong quality focus.
  • Exceptional skills in communication, collaboration, and technical leadership.
  • UML proficiency for clear communication of design and architectural decisions.
  • Expertise in enterprise architecture, requirements analysis, and alignment of technical solutions with business goals.
  • Deep understanding of cloud technologies and experience in architecting scalable and cost-effective solutions.
  • Proficiency in design and modelling tools, and awareness of non-functional requirements.
  • Experience in performance engineering and security engineering to ensure robustness and security of the solutions.
  • Experience in system sizing and capacity planning in VM or Cloud Set up will be an advantage.
  • Experience in End to End Data Migration, Reporting framework, BI and Analytics will be advantageous.
