Responsibilities

Mentor and coach software engineering teams in new technologies, tools, and practices

Own the engineering operations for the deployed services and foster scalable architecture

Balance cost and value to deliver good outcomes and commercial capability

Model security first mindset and observability culture across several teams

Make effective decisions and handle risk, change, and uncertainty in routine and high-pressure situations

Contribute to function and organization strategy, planning, and improvement; manage recruitment and performance of engineers

Essential Skills

At least 5 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in leading software engineering teams in multi-site, multi-geography environments

Experience in people leadership, software product architecture, development, testing, and support

Strong background in Programming Languages (Java/Python/Node.JS), Tools and Frameworks

Experience in software development/deployment into public cloud environments (AWS)

Experience in Operations decision making and incident management.

Experience in DevOps practices (CI and CD), source control and pipelines as code

Experience with microservices architecture and development and container orchestration as part of an agile team
