Role Description:

Engineer (Urban Road Design -UK ) - Design and 3D modelling : should have Good proficiency in various Autodesk tools such as Civil 3D, Infraworks, Navisworks, etc. Will have to carry out design and production Highway design, 3D Modelling, CAD production and quantities with minimum support. Experience on Major Urban Road Projects \xe2\x80\x93 concept design, Alternative Technical Concepts and detailed design of project. Should have handled Design \xe2\x80\x93 Build projects for any of international projects. Specific UK experience is most desirable.

Work Location: Bangalore/ Hyderabad/Noida, India

Role Accountabilities:

• Involved in end-to-end project design and delivery for Urban Road design related tasks.
• Preparation / Finalization of various highway related drawings at various stages of projects.
• Computation of quantities.
• Preparation of design reports.
• Ability to understand existing condition reports and surveys.
• Should have been involved in minimum of 2 Design projects-overseas preferably for UK in Infrastructure Business.
• Should have worked for UK Projects and must be conversant with DBRB specifications and standards.
• Good understanding and Knowledge on international codes like DMRB, AASHTO, and Euro codes along with various other International Codal Practices and Standards, Design Standards of Local County Councils
• Urban Road Design experience using Civil 3D and good expertise in 3D modelling for proposals and Detail design projects.
• Urban Road Design for various stages of Design Build Projects \xe2\x80\x93 Detailed design of Roadway corridor, Detailed drawings, construction support-drawings, Design Reviews, Project Management, Design Management.
• Experience in MS Office software including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Software: Navisworks, Infraworks, and Open Roads will have added advantages.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Strong understanding of DMRB codes
• Minimum 3-4 years of experience in a Design Consulting Environment
• Software \xe2\x80\x93 Civil 3D and AutoCad. MX, Infraworks and Navisworks would be added advantage.
• Worked on at least one major project for the UK Lead region.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills (in English), including technical report writing.
• Organized and proactive (self- starter).
• Knowledge of Programming (LISP, VBA, .Net, C, C++) is added advantage
• Education - Graduation - B.Tech/B.E. \xe2\x80\x93 Civil or Post Graduation - MTech \xe2\x80\x93 Civil/Transportation.
