Role description: Senior Engineer (Highway Design -UK Highways) - Design and 3D modelling should have proficiency in various Autodesk tools such as Civil 3D, Infraworks, Navisworks, etc. Will have to carry out design and production Highway design, 3D Modelling, CAD production and quantities and should have work experience as Task Manager and should have led project team size of more than 4 at least once for large Projects. Experience on Major Highways Projects - concept design, Alternative Technical Concepts and detailed design of the project. Should have handled Design - Build projects for any international projects. Specific UK experience is most desirable. Work Location: Bangalore/ Hyderabad/Noida, India Role Accountabilities: Responsible for managing technical aspects of smaller and/or less complex tasks or components of larger tasks, meeting financial, quality, timeframe and health and safety objectives Responsible for end-to-end project design and delivery for Highway design-related tasks. Preparation / Finalization of various highway-related drawings at various stages of projects. Computation of quantities. Preparation of design reports. Ability to understand existing condition reports and surveys. Coaching and mentoring team members. Ability to lead and design projects. Should have handled a minimum of 1 Design projects-overseas preferably for the UK in the Infrastructure Business. Should have worked for UK Projects and must be conversant with DBRB specifications and standards. Involving in the business strategy and growth of the business. Good understanding and Knowledge of international codes like DMRB, AASHTO, and Euro codes along with various other International Codal Practices and Standards, Design Standards of Local County Councils Highway Design experience using Civil 3D and good expertise in 3D modelling for proposals and Detail design projects. Roadway Design for various stages of Design-Build Projects - Detailed design of Roadway corridor, Detailed drawings, construction support drawings, Design Reviews, Project Management, and Design Management. Experience in MS Office software including Word, Excel and PowerPoint Qualifications & Experience: Education - Graduation - B.Tech/B.E. - Civil or Post Graduation - MTech - Civil/Transportation. Minimum 6+ years of experience in a Design Consulting Environment Strong understanding of DMRB codes Software - Civil 3D and AutoCad. MX, Infraworks and Navisworks would be added advantages. Delivered at least one major project for the UK Lead region in a lead role. Excellent written and verbal communication skills (in English), including technical report writing. Organized and proactive (self-starter).
