Job Summary The XPERI Business Applications team is a group of high-energy individuals who focus on meeting objectives by providing innovative solutions and bringing clarity and simplicity to complex business and technology problems. A critical component of this team is the SalesForce Development team who work closely with our analysis team to design and build custom salesforce solutions using the best technologies that the Salesforce Development platform has to offer. We have an opening for an individual to join this team as a Salesforce Developer and help us deliver on our upcoming roadmap of exciting projects
This is an excellent opportunity for the qualified candidate to leverage his/her seasoned SalesForce skills to impact a diverse set of process gaps with state-of-the-art solutions. Essential Functions and Responsibilities
The ideal candidate will help drive the ongoing development of our Salesforce.com deployment and will have a record of success in improving processes and adoption using the Force.com platform. You will work with a team of developers, architects, and subject matter experts to identify develop new solutions that are core to our business. This role is full-fledged core development role. The Salesforce developer will be responsible to add core components to our existing salesforce implementation, and maintain, scale, and improve it over time without compromising the overall coding standards.
The role needs to be comfortable in working with both traditional approach (SDLC) and Agile approach for handing the new/existing projects.

• Here’s what the ideal candidate will get to do:
• Work closely with the Architects/Development Leads to design solutions that are highly scalable, extensible and easy to maintain while keeping the overall end-user experience in mind
• Strong Experience with Aura, and Lightning Framework
• Strong understanding of the Salesforce FORCE.COM platform, with the ability to build custom apps and complex components using the Lightning and classic frameworks.
• Develop/Create/Support Reusable Salesforce functionality using Visual Force, Apex, Triggers
• Comfortable with working with API’s, Governors Limits, Test Classes, and Schedules, Batches, and other Jobs in Salesforce
• Consistently participate in Peer Code Reviews to ensure Salesforce Development Best Practices are followed.
• Ability to perform Unit Testing with Code Coverage (close to 100%)
• Some experience in integrating SFDC with other Cloud Systems like Atlassian suite, Jenkins, AWS.
• Possesses background in the areas of application programming, and system design (comfortable in one of the modern languages – C#, JAVA, PYTHON)
• Good data management abilities for transferring data from different sources like ERP, LOB DB’s like Oracle, SQL SERVER into and out of Salesforce
• Understand the overall SFDC platform and service architectures

Required Education, Experience, and Skills

• BS degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Computer Systems, or Mathematics is desirable
• Bachelors/Master in IT/Comp Science, or related fields
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Salesforce.com Developer
• 4-5 years of software development experience
• Saleforce.com Development certification/ Platform certification preferred
• Strong understanding of Salesforce.com best practices and functionality
• Ability to work with Agile delivery methods (Scrum, Kanban, Disciplined Agile Delivery, Agile Unified Process, etc.) is desired
• Work closely with the Analyst team to ensure smooth execution of UAT
