Job Description
Role - Design and project engineering of electrical aspects of power projects
Educational Qualification Graduate in Electrical Engineering Masters in Power Systems / Energy Management preferable
Prior Experience - Minimum 3 years of design/project experience with substations, power systems
Responsibilities
- Performing grid code compliance studies (steady-state, power quality) for integration of renewables with grid.
- Data collection, validation and modelling of electrical networks in power system simulation tools like ETAP
- Design and engineering of MV/HV (132, 220, 400kV) power evacuation systems including pooling substations and transmission line
- Preparation and/or evaluation of technical specifications, techno-commercial offers
- Evaluate interconnection standards and transmission feasibility
- Protective device coordination, short circuit analysis, arc flash, load flows, ground evaluation, harmonic analysis, and power quality analysis
Must have -
- In-depth knowledge of relevant standards and codes like IEC and IS
- Must be familiar with high voltage power systems including safety practices and design
- Minimum two years’ experience in power system engineering analysis
- Knowledge of utility communication systems, including SCADA
Preferred -
- Pune based candidates
- Familiarity to perform in-field testing services as needed for high voltage equipment
Travel - Willing to travel and stay as per requirement in India and abroad.
