Job description: Title: Windows Server, Hyper-V Cluster, AD, Azure AD (Basic), DHCP, DNS, Linux. Location: Bangalore Experience: 2 - 3 years of relevant experience in server/IT Datacenter administration. Core Competencies: AD, Azure AD (Basic), Hyper-V or VMware VSphere Virtualization, DHCP, DNS, Wintel Support, Linux. ITIL, MCSE, MCSA, MCITP. Job details: Perform Security Health Check of Windows servers and other compliance. Perform timely Patch management as per the Schedule. Perform Change Management as per the process. Support to raising & implementing including the Patch management CRs in the Wintel infrastructure. Daily BAU Calls Support on Windows 2008 and 2012 Server Family infrastructure. The setup and maintenance of new infrastructure of Windows 2008, Windows 2012 Server Edition, Domain Controller, DNS Servers, DHCP Servers, File Server. Detailed Activities: Windows OS & AD Incident/Production Management. Installing, Configuring and Hardening of Windows 2012 / 2016 Servers. Installing, Configuring and Managing AD/ DHCP / DNS and File Services. AD Replication monitoring and regular health checks to be performed. Creating Group Policies and implementation as per standard procedures. RAID Configurations and Disk management utilities tools. Perform Security Health Check of Windows servers and other compliance related activities. Coordinating with different lines of services with SLA and 3rd party vendor coordination. Controlled shutdown and restart of services and dependencies. Daily Operating System alert handling and response. Password maintenance and scheduling. Ticket Status Check and Update. Incident Handling and Progress Monitoring. Creation, Deletion, management, maintenance of DHCP scope entries. Administration of DNS configuration and records. Server hardware repair / replace. Deployment, Maintenance and management of Backup tools. Perform timely Patch management as per the Schedule. Report generation of capacity, Backup, Patch, AD objects and accounts for audit. Experience and Skill required must: Good understanding of Operating System infrastructures. Experience of client/server and enterprise environments. Ability to structure and draft technical documentation. ITIL Certified or a strong working knowledge of ITIL Incident, Problem and Change Management disciplines. Customer relationship development and influencing skills. Ability to work under pressure and remain decisive. Having Windows certification in 2012/2016 will be an added advantage. Should have relevant experience in windows server management of 2 - 3 years. The ability to work independently and with teams.
