Job Description

• 4 to 7 years' experience in Database Management, generating medium to high complexity SQL queries for QA validation, debugging data issues etc.
• Working knowledge of Oracle, MSSQL, Redshift Databases, AWS S3 and any SQL IDE's e,g. SQL Developer/DB Visualizer/Toad etc.
• 3 to 4 years' experience in extraction, transformation and Loading techniques (ETL) for data in multiple formats from multiple sources
• knowledge of Python programming language
• Familiar with a cloud infrastructure like AWS or Azure and respective cloud storage systems like AWS S3 /Azure Blob.
• Experience in development model: Agile/waterfall
• Great attitude towards learning new things and taking on any kind of tasks
• Analytical skills, Attention to details, Ability to work in a team as well as an individual
• Requirement analysis and understanding of DWBI technical specification documents.
• Analyze and understand the ETL workflows
• Must be very strong in SQL and should be able to write complex SQL queries for validating business rules(ETL)
• Should have experience in validation of data transformations and perform End-to-End data validation for ETL systems
• Strong in backend validation of reports developed using tools like Tableau or POWER BI
• Must possess very good experience in data analytical testing and good understanding of the data model
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced team environment with minimal supervision.
• Must have the ability to escalate issues in a timely manner.
• Must possess strong technical, problem solving, project coordination, and analytical
• Defect tracking till closure.
• Ability to work on multiple releases and multiple projects at the same time and to work in different time zones (if required)
