As a member of Johnson Controls, Hardware Analog Engineer will be part of an Engineering team that Design, Develop and Validate Electronic Products. You will help build the platform and the embedded systems based on Analog and Mixed Signal Design for the JCI product line. You will work on Embedded Hardware Devices that will be used to integrate with the Building Automation units and other BU Products.
This position will be based at the Johnson Controls building in Pune and will be part of the Global Platforming team.
How you will do it
Involve in Electronic product development and support hardware circuit design, circuit simulation, BOM preparation & review, BOM cost analysis, Board bring-up, and perform functional testing
Experience with product design including circuit design, system bring-up, integration and debugging
Specify appropriate test requirements that will prove our design is fit for use
Design for reliability with appropriate component derating and analysis
Engage with internal and outsourced development partners on Embedded hardware design and development for Analog and Mixed Signal design
Communicate within the team to understand requirements and initiate proof of concept implementation
Involve in product preliminary regulatory compliance testing
Investigation of design options to reduce cost, improve performance and manufacturability
Collaborates with cross-functional teams & communicates with the customer
Should be able to perform multitasks to support different projects

What we look for
BE/BTech/ME/MTech- (ECE/EIE/EEE)- minimum 6+ years of experience in Analog and Mixed Signal based embedded hardware design
Hands-on experience with Microcontroller and Microprocessor-based design and development
Must have a deep understanding of Circuit Design using Op-amps, BJTs, MOSFETs, Diodes etc
Hands on exposure to Board level specification, Architecture, component selection, schematic design, layout guidelines, board bring up, Test procedure
Design, follow-up and validation of the equipment required for acceptance and qualification tests
Experience in Sensor, transducers, motors, Relays, and their interfaces with microcontroller
Hands on experience in Power Supply Design and Debugging
Technical knowledge of bus standards such as I2C, SPI, and Ethernet is required, and RF/Wireless technology is preferable
Good understanding of EMI/EMC test requirements
Hands-on design/debug experience with cutting-edge chipsets and peripherals
Hands-on experience in the hardware test setup build-up, functional testing
Strong communication skills to interact with colleagues, partners, and customers
Experience with BOM analysis, components costing, engineering change process, etc.
