Candidate must work on Microchip's 15.4 product portfolio. The major responsibilities include the following:

• Software product development including requirements definition, Architecture and design, Implementation
• Co-ordinate with other functional teams like the Silicon Design, Silicon Validation and software test team
• Work with the software validation team
• Feature enhancements, Integration & Bug fixing on 15.4 products.
• Gather requirements from various functional teams

• Holds a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Electronics/ Computer science with 1-3 years of experience
• The candidate should be very strong in C programming in an embedded environment
• Experience in Embedded Software domain
• In-depth work experience with microcontroller peripherals is must have
• Experience in 802.15.4 standards is added advantage.
• Having experience in RTOS is added advantage
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Must be self-motivated and able to work in collaborative group environment.
• Knowledge/experience in MPLAB or Atmel Studio IDE and tool chains is a Plus
