Hiring for one of the leading U.S based large Multi National

Job Profile : Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning Engineer

Experience : 5 to 7 years

Location : Permanent Work from Home

- Collaborate closely with- CryoEM- domain experts to create workflows with machine-learning/deep-learning based tools in order to process- CryoEM- datasets

- Benchmark and deploy AI/ML pipelines

- Improve the performance of the pipeline by hyperparameter-tuning, k-fold cross-validation of the key tools.

- Develop processes and tools to assess model performance and accuracy

- Keep oneself updated about the latest deep-learning tools for- CryoEM- heterogeneous reconstruction

- Coordinate with different functional teams for UI/UX development and Data architecture design

- Work with stakeholders for the scientific and business outcomes of different pipelines

Qualifications:

- PhD or MSc + 5 years of experience in Computer Science, Statistics, Computational Biology, Structural Biology, Bioinformatics, Scientific Computing or other relevant areas

- Proficient in Python language

- Working experience with Python modules for data science: Pandas, Scikit-Learn,- Scipy,- Numpy

- Working experience with machine learning modules in python such as- PyTorch- or- Keras

- Must be well-versed in machine learning and deep learning techniques with practical experience e.g., Artificial neural networks, Variational- AutoEncoders, Convolutional Neural Networks (CNN), Graph Convolutional Networks (GCN), Clustering, PCA, Decision Trees etc.

- Must be well-versed with associated Modeling concepts - Loss functions, (Stochastic) Gradient Descent, Pre processing,- Hyperparameter tuning,- k-fold Cross-Validation, steps to identify and prevent underfitting and overfitting

- Familiarity with high-dimensional visualization techniques (e.g., UMAP, t-SNE)

- Must be well-versed with Statistical concepts such as Hypothesis Testing, Sampling, Oversampling and- Under sampling, Expectation Maximization, Maximum Likelihood Estimation

- Must be well-versed with Docker and Kubernetes technologies

- Familiarity with Backend development, API

- Must be well-versed file versioning and control - Github, GitLab

- Familiarity with Slurm job management, Slurm dependencies

- Familiarity with- CryoEM- data processing is plus

- Strong problem-solving skills

- Strong communication and collaboration skills
